Clemente Quiñones became a part of the SHPE familia in 2009 as a freshman at the Southern Polytechnic State University (SPSU), where the second half of the year, served as the secretary for the executive board. The following year, he transferred to Georgia Tech, was involved with GT-SHPE, and joined the Region 7 board becoming the Regional Student Representative (RSR) his final year in College. After graduating in May 2014 & moving to the Dallas/Fort-Worth area for work, he served as the Membership Director on the DFW Board of Directors before being elected as the new President later that year. He earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering in 2014 from Georgia Tech and currently works as a CE-Designer at LandDesign, Inc.
Resumen: Clemente nos hablará sobre la misión y los objetivos generales de la "Society of Hispanic Profesional Engineers (SHPE)" en la región de Dallas Fort Worth. Nos platicará sobre los beneficios de formar parte de esta prestigiosa organización que cuenta con mas de 50 capítulos y 10,000 miembros a nivel nacional.
