The MIT Global Partnerships Fund promotes and supports early-stage collaboration between faculty and researchers at MIT and in Mexico. An outcome of the A Global Strategy for MIT report, the fund helps enable the creation of new region-specific platforms for cultivating, facilitating, and coordinating faculty and Institute-level collaborations in targeted countries and regions. The Global Partnerships Fund will allow MIT to engage with Mexico and other regions and areas where it has been less active, develop stronger collaborations with peer institutions, and explore opportunities for collaboration in education and innovation/entrepreneurship as well as research.
